Xing (Stella) Liu is a seasoned corporate and securities attorney specializing in venture capital financings, fund formation, mergers and acquisitions, and general corporate counseling. Since joining the firm in 2016, she has leveraged her U.S. and international experience to advise a broad spectrum of clients—from emerging startups to multinational enterprises. Ms. Liu has guided startups and investors through dozens of financing transactions, ranging from early-stage seed rounds to later-stage pre-IPO deals. She also advises on liquidity and exit strategies, counseling clients on M&As, stock sales, asset purchases, spin-offs, and other strategic transactions.

Ms. Liu earned her L.L.B. (Outstanding Graduate) from the East China University of Political Science and Law, followed by dual Masters of Laws from the same institution and the National University of Singapore. She received her Juris Doctor (Graduate with Honors) from The George Washington University Law School, where she served as a senior staff member of the Public Contract Law Journal and interned for Chief Administrative Law Judge Ronnie Yoder at the U.S. Department of Transportation.

She is admitted to practice in California and is also qualified to practice in the People’s Republic of China.
